Research Assistant Position
Dr. Qianlong Liu invites applications for a Research Assistant position under a project funded by the General Research Fund (GRF) of the Research Grants Council (RGC) of Hong Kong. The project lies in an interdisciplinary area spanning insurance, risk management, and finance.
Dr. Liu is a Research Assistant Professor at the Institute of Insurance and Risk Management, Lingnan University. He received his Ph.D. in Risk Management and Insurance from Georgia State University. His research focuses on financial risk management in the insurance sector.

Eligibility and Responsibilities
• Be currently enrolled or graduate in a Master’s or Ph.D. program. Have a major in finance, economics, insurance, risk management, or accounting (preferred)
• Have experience in empirical research, particularly data manipulation, quantitative analysis, and preliminary drafting
• Be familiar with econometric methods and have programming skills in R, SAS, or STATA.
• Possess an excellent command of academic reading and writing in English
Salary and Benefits
• Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience
• This is is a remote position. It can be either part-time (three months or longer) or full-time.
