小秘刚给我们发了CMB最近三年的录取数据，有兴趣的筒子可以瞅瞅~ here are some key stats about the program during the last three years (2011/2012 through 2013/2014). Average GRE and GPA GRE: 319 Undergrad GPA 3.59 Selectivity Rate for admission to the program Total Applicants: 922 Applicants that were offered admission: 176 Students that enrolled: 67 19.08 % of all applications are accepted, so getting offered admission is fairly difficult. Time to Graduation: Students that graduated between 2011 and 2014 took 6.7 years on average to graduate. We anticipate that this number will decrease significantly, with most current students on track to graduate somewhere between 5.5 and 6 years. “Washout” Rate: This stat tracks how many students left the program before their second year. 5 of 67 students over the last three years. That breaks down to 7% of students. 以上数据是包括美国本土和国际学生的，据我所知，13年招了两个大陆的，14年没有。 今年已经有一个大陆学生拿到offer了，据说是圣诞之前skype面试的，这个同学是陶瓷了的，然后碰巧PI在committee，就拿到面试了，跟我当年的情况类似，所以，对UT来说，生物陶瓷不是完全没用，还是得看运气。 然后ICMB大规模的on-site interview是这周开始，本周五有一轮，二月中旬还有一轮。不过国际学生如果不在本土，是会skype面试的，具体时间就不了解了，可能是committee随心所欲吧{:3_77:}不过看上面的数据，应该会有不少人拒掉offer，所以三四月份拿到offer也是有可能的。大家申了的话，就陶瓷试试吧~ 最最后，今年的stipend又涨了，据说是$2500/月，$30,000/年。。简直丧心病狂！！！第一年是ICMB给的RA，只需要拿钱做rotation就可以了，还是很爽的，虽然只能发到五月份，之后就是老板发工资了。 大概就这些，希望大家都拿到好offer吧~好运~{:3_66:}
